Carmageddon is here and officials are warning motorists top stay away from the closed stretch of the 405.
LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Last year's Carmegeddon did not result in major traffic jams as was widely anticipated, so transit officials are now concerned more people will drive in the vicinity of a closed portion of the 405 freeway.
Transit officials are demolishing a final stretch of a bridge and doing other work to a 10 mile stretch of the 405.
The work is expected to be completed within two days, with the addition of a carpool lane over the Sepulveda pass.
