Endeavour began her trek early this morning.
Endeavour is on the move and officials say it's going just fine. In fact, the move is going so well that police say they have been able to open more sidewalks to allow the public closer viewing of the event.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - This is the big day for the Shuttle Endeavour, which will now spend the rest of its life as an exhibit at the California Science Museum.

Over the next day-and-a-half, the shuttle will make its way down city streets at about two miles per hour. Several public viewing opportunities and celebrations are planned along the way with the largest one to start at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Forum in Inglewood.

The public is encouraged to arrive early for that event with parking opening at 4 a.m.

By late Saturday, the shuttle will have arrived at its new home and will go on public display at the end of the month.
